Who Ya Gonna Call… Live
Be part of the conversation.
Who Ya Gonna Call… LIVE is a monthly online event celebrating the actors, filmmakers, artists, technicians and creative minds behind some of the most iconic films and television of the past several decades.
Hosted by documentary filmmakers Claire and Anthony Bueno, each event brings together the people who were actually there, giving them the time and space to share the stories behind the work, the moments that never made it into the official histories, and the memories that fans rarely get the chance to hear first-hand.
And because these events are live, you are not simply watching from the sidelines. You can be part of the conversation, submit your own questions and join fellow film fans from around the world for a genuinely personal evening with the people behind the films you love.
It started with Ghostbusters…
For our first year, Who Ya Gonna Call… LIVE has been a celebration of the extraordinary people behind Ghostbusters. Over the last twelve months, we have welcomed an incredible collection of actors, filmmakers, stunt performers, visual effects artists, creature creators and other members of the creative community who helped bring that world to life.
Those conversations have taken us far beyond the film itself, into decades of filmmaking history and careers that span some of the biggest and best-loved productions in cinema, such as The Thing, Poltergeist, The Terminator and The Abyss.
As we move into the next chapter of Who Ya Gonna Call… LIVE, Ghostbusters will very much remain part of the story. With Too Hot To Handle: Remembering Ghostbusters II still to come, there will be plenty more opportunities to return to that world, reconnect with familiar faces and continue celebrating the people and stories behind the films.
We’re not moving away from Ghostbusters, we’re simply opening the doors a little wider.
A new film and a new conversation. Every month.
From 2027, Who Ya Gonna Call… LIVE will begin shining the spotlight on a wider range of iconic films, cult favourites and much-loved productions from across the decades.
Some events will focus on one special guest, while others will bring together several people connected to the same film, creating a chance to reunite actors, effects artists, designers, filmmakers and other creatives and hear their memories side by side.
We also want the series to remain connected to what our guests are doing now. Many of the people we speak to are still creating, writing, performing and releasing new work, so where it fits naturally, we’ll also use these conversations to explore new books, films, documentaries and projects alongside the stories audiences already know and love.
That means each month can be a little different. One event might celebrate a single iconic film, another might bring together familiar collaborators, and another might give us the perfect reason to reconnect with someone who has a new project to share.
What won’t change is the heart of Who Ya Gonna Call… LIVE: bringing fascinating people together, preserving the stories behind the work and giving fans the chance to be part of the conversation.

How the events work
Each event is hosted live online by Claire and Anthony Bueno and runs for approximately two and a half hours. Depending on the film or theme, we may welcome one special guest, a joint conversation or a group of people who worked together on the same production.
The evenings are relaxed, informal and designed to give our guests time to tell their stories properly. Expect behind-the-scenes memories, rare insights, archive material where available, honest reflections and plenty of conversation about the craft and creativity involved in making the films we all know and love.
Audience participation remains a huge part of the experience. You will have the opportunity to submit questions for our guests and selected questions will be included during the live event.
This is not a convention panel or a quick promotional interview.
It is a chance to sit down with the people behind the movies and join the conversation.

Who Ya Gonna Call… LIVE?
Some of the most fascinating people in film are not always the names at the top of the poster.
They are the artists who created the creatures, the technicians who made the impossible work, the performers who brought memorable characters to life, the designers who created worlds, and the filmmakers who found ways to put all of it on screen.
Who Ya Gonna Call… LIVE exists to celebrate them.
Over the coming months and years, we want to revisit the films audiences still love decades later, reunite the people who made them, preserve their stories and give fans the opportunity to meet them in a completely different way.
If you love movies, filmmaking and hearing the stories behind the screen, you are very much in the right place.
