Too Hot To Handle: Remembering Ghostbusters II, is the retrospective making of Ghostbusters II featuring recollections from Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, Ivan and Jason Reitman, plus ILM’s Dennis Muren; with an original score by legendary Ghostbusters II composer Randy Edelman.

Five years after the global phenomenon of Ghostbusters and subsequent cartoons, the brand was cemented in popular culture. Time has moved on and so have careers. Without a real script and on the eve of revolutionary digital effects the pressure was on for Ghostbusters II to deliver. Could reuniting these beloved core characters capture the magic of the ’84 classic? All will be revealed.

Containing 40 plus insightful, entertaining and heartfelt cast and crew interviews. The documentary is accompanied by a wealth of never-before-seen archive and behind-the-scenes video footage from the personal collections of many members of the creative team themselves. It’s a lasting testament to how the filmmakers collectively defied adverse time constraints and all manner of technical challenges and the crucial craftsmanship of puppeteers in realising the unforgettable creatures that helps make Ghostbusters II retain such a perpetually popular international appeal.
