Who Ya Gonna Call… LIVE December Event

Who Ya Gonna Call… LIVE with Special Guest Ernie Hudson

Saturday 5th December 2026 – 19.30GMT

For our final Who Ya Gonna Call… LIVE event of 2026, Claire and Anthony Bueno are joined by one of the most beloved members of the Ghostbusters family: Ernie Hudson.

Known around the world as Winston Zeddemore, Ernie has been part of the Ghostbusters story for more than four decades, appearing in the original 1984 film, Ghostbusters II, and returning to the role in the franchise’s more recent chapters.

But Ernie’s career stretches far beyond the proton pack.

With more than five decades in film and television, he has appeared in productions including The Crow, Oz, Congo, Miss Congeniality, Grace and Frankie, Quantum Leap, Twin Peaks, Modern Family and many more, establishing himself as one of the industry’s most enduring and recognisable character actors.

From Winston Zeddemore to a five-decade career

For many fans, Ernie Hudson will always be Winston.

He joined the Ghostbusters as the grounded outsider who simply wanted a job and gradually became an essential part of the team. Hudson has spoken over the years about both his affection for the character and the complicated journey of bringing Winston to the screen, making his perspective on the film’s legacy particularly fascinating.

During the event, Claire and Anthony will talk to Ernie about joining Ghostbusters, working alongside Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, the evolution of Winston across the films, and what it has meant to return to the character decades later.

We’ll also look far beyond Ghostbusters, exploring the roles and experiences that have shaped Ernie’s remarkable career, from The Crow and Oz to comedy, drama and television work across several generations.

More than Ghostbusters

One of the things we love most about Who Ya Gonna Call… LIVE is discovering where a single film can lead.

Ernie’s story is the perfect example.

After Ghostbusters, he went on to build an extraordinary body of work across film and television, including his acclaimed performance as Warden Leo Glynn in Oz, his role as Sergeant Albrecht in The Crow, appearances in the Miss Congeniality films, and more recent work in Grace and Frankie, Quantum Leap and The Family Business. This is our chance to hear those stories directly from the man who lived them.

Be part of the conversation

Who Ya Gonna Call… LIVE is not a pre-recorded interview or a conventional convention panel. It is a relaxed, long-form live conversation designed to give our guests the time and space to tell their stories properly.

Audience participation is an important part of every event, and when booking your ticket you’ll have the opportunity to submit a question for Ernie.

Selected questions will then be put to him during the live event, giving you the chance to become part of the conversation.

Whether you want to ask about Winston Zeddemore, Ghostbusters, The Crow, Oz, his wider career or something you have always wanted to know, this is your opportunity.

A very special end to the year

Our first year of Who Ya Gonna Call… LIVE has celebrated the extraordinary people connected with Ghostbusters, from actors and stunt performers to visual effects artists, creature creators and filmmakers.

So it feels especially fitting to end 2026 with Ernie Hudson.

As the series begins opening its doors to even more iconic films and filmmaking stories in 2027, this event gives us the chance to celebrate one of the most important people in the Ghostbusters story and bring our first chapter to a very special close.

You Ask the Questions

As with every Who Ya Gonna Call… LIVE event, this is not a pre-recorded interview. It is a live, interactive evening created for fans, and you will have the opportunity to be part of the conversation.

When booking your ticket, you will be invited to submit a question for Ernie. Selected audience questions will then be put to our guests live during the event.

To help us manage what we expect will be a very busy Q&A, all questions will need to be submitted in advance when booking.

Early Bird Tickets

Because we expect particularly high demand for this event, tickets will be released in waves. The first release will consist of 100 Early Bird tickets, giving fans the opportunity to secure their place before the next allocation becomes available.

Further ticket releases will follow, but if you want to be among the first to guarantee your place for this very special edition of Who Ya Gonna Call… LIVE, we recommend booking early.
